Superhuman Sports are unleashing a brand new fitness concept across the UK in January 2020!After eight years of delivering world class functional fitness events we are now launching our group 'Functional X-Training' classes in numerous venues and locations across the country, and the concept is unlike anything you have ever experienced before!
Our group fitness program has been born out of our love for functional fitness and the thrill of cross training in both indoor and outdoor environments!
X-Run - (45-60mins) Outdoor classes that focus on all aspects of running fitness; including endurance running, speed, agility, strength and power. A fun and energetic experience taking on varying routes and a multitude of running environments. The classes also include professionally designed drills and bodyweight exercises that will help improve your overall running performance and technique. X-run classes are professionally designed in order to ensure progression and measurable results (all classes have scaled exercise and workout alternatives in order to ensure they cater for all abilities, from the complete beginner right through to the advanced exerciser).
X-HiiT - (45 mins) Functional HiiT classes designed to improve your all-round strength & conditioning, functional movement and athleticism. Classes begin with mobility exercises and an active warm up, then on to a movement technique and practice segment, finishing off with a high energy 20-minute HiiT workout. The X-HiiT program combines together compound strength exercises, kettlebells, bodyweight movements and advanced interval training principles in order to achieve maximal results every single session (all classes have scaled exercise and workout alternatives in order to ensure they cater for all abilities, from the complete beginner right through to the advanced exerciser).
X-Mobility - (30 mins) Mobility classes specifically designed for those who regularly take part in functional X-training and high intensity workouts. X-mobility classes aim to improve your range of motion through your joints, flexibility, balance, functional movement, core strength and whole-body mobility. Class routines are short, concise and very focused, with routines changing every 4 weeks in order to ensure ongoing progression (classes cater for all abilities, from the complete beginner right through to advanced).
Bootcamp-FXT - (45-60mins) Outdoor classes using unconventional equipment, with a specific focus on building your whole-body strength and functional fitness. You won't find any barbells or squat racks in our functional X-training bootcamp classes, but you will almost certainly encounter tractor tyres, kegs, sandbags, logs and atlas balls at some point along your fitness journey with us! Each class starts off with an active warm-up, your coach will then take you through a movement technique and practice segment, before finishing off the class with a high energy 20-minute workout (All classes have scaled exercise and workout alternatives in order to ensure they cater for all abilities, from the complete beginner right through to the advanced exerciser).
